Grade 12's: Each new year the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia invites undergraduate students from across Canada to participate in the Legislative Tour Guide Program. As Legislative Tour Guides, these students work to bring parliamentary procedure and British Columbia history to life for thousands of school groups and visitors from around the world. The program is open to students enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution who have public speaking experience and the ability to communicate fluently in English and a second language. Our program provides a unique opportunity for students to further develop their public speaking skills, improve their second language proficiency and learn about BC’s rich history and parliamentary process while working in the heart of our capital city.
